I booked the Rajasthan e bike tour with not much notice, but Offbeat Pedals arranged it all with ease. They accommodated my changes and additions to the itinerary. The whole tour ran incredibly smoothly. It was the perfect mix between cycling and cultural experiences. I don’t think there was a particular highlight as the entire trip was so incredible. Our tour guide Francis, and driver Akash were both so lovely, fun and accommodating. We cycled on local roads, which were quiet and in very good condition. Francis picked the routes that were the most scenic and we experienced a great variety of landscapes. The e bikes were very high quality. There was a good balance between cycling during the day and relaxing in the afternoon. We stayed in absolutely incredible hotels - forts, palaces and all! Francis was so attentive - he listened what we liked and then he incorporated it into the trip, even without us asking! As a result, we got to eat our favourite regional dishes and learned how to make chai. The trip ended with a night of cultural dancing and a camel ride and was the perfect way to finish a fabulous trip. The trip really was amazing and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. I would highly recommend any tour with Offbeat Pedals.Posted on Christian BorgemeisterTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Over the last 10 days in Kochi I cycled 3x with Akshay George, in Kochi, from Kochi through the backwaters, and finally today on Vipyn island. All 3 trips have been amazing, and Akshay proved to be not only a very experienced guide but also a very nice and warm person. I can thus whole heartedly recommend the said tours and particularly Akshay as a guide.Posted on Salla KuuluvainenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Offbeat Adventure organized a tailored trekking package in Munnar surroundings for four days, and also a short kayaking excursion near Fort Kochi for me. Everything went smoothly and it was a great experience. It was somewhat pricey for my general holiday budget, but the value for money was simply great. I even had two guides sometimes and the guides had splendid knowledge about local flora and fauna. Accommodations were really nice and one time Francis did a lot of extra effort to organize another place for me to stay when a noisy party group arrived on location.Generally as a woman traveling by myself I felt very safe at all times and was treated like a princess! The only thing that could be improved would be to offer some information about the trekking package, accommodations etc. in advance. Also, I think we didn’t do the last short trek that was part of the package, but since I was feeling a little sick I might have omitted that anyway.Posted on Robert BlacklerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Francis provided an awesome service, yet again! This is the 3rd time Ive used offbeat pedals, and Francis makes sure that everything works perfectly, from the bikes to the transfers to accommodation and food. I Thoroughly recommend OffbeatpedalsPosted on Robin CooperTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We live in the UK and absolutely loved our trip in January and February 2025 with Offbeat Pedals. If you ever want a cycling holiday “Offbeat Pedals in India and Sri Lanka” are just brilliant. You really can’t sensibly do your own tours as you’d have no idea which roads are cyclable or not. We had several roads where you can’t cycle because of wildlife dangers so you’d suddenly be stranded. With a minibus behind you, you can safely jump aboard. It is unsurprisingly very hot here and we found it difficult to cycle more than 50kms a day as it’s quite hard going and the roads are pretty rough in places. The support team discuss how much you’d like to ride and come with extra bikes (and electric ones) if it’s all getting too much and you want a change. You go to places you’d never reach on a normal tour. The local people are all so friendly. They all want to know where you are from, where you are going and what your “street name” is. It really helps to have Indian speaking staff who can translate for you especially at meal times. It was a truly immersive experience. We cycled quiet back roads through rural areas and small villages with remote schools and houses it would be impossible to find without a guide. Offbeat Pedals were faultless in every respect. They chose great spots for lunch and it was wonderful to experience with friends. Nothing was too much trouble for the team offering a truly concierge service. The Indian drivers are completely bonkers. The Indian Highway Code seems non-existent but you never feel in danger as the guides always looked out for us. Every vehicle will toot you and then weave around you or come towards you on the wrong side of the road but at the end of the day their motorbike, lorry or tuk tuk is their livelihood so they don’t want to crash into you. You do need to be brave and have your wits about you at all times. The food is just spectacular. We didn’t have one meal which was anything but delicious. We’ve reached our journeys end in Kerala having started in Goa. We’ve loved India on a bike. Beautiful people. Everyone working their socks off trying to make a living. We hoped to see a wild tiger. And we did. What a great journey. It’s goodbye from: Dee and Cliff; Patsy and Paul; Barbara and Robin. It would have been much better with John and Tina here but they are coming later in the year with Offbeat Pedals and will absolutely love it. Goodbye India and thank you to the team from Offbeat Pedals: Sujith, Francis, Santosh and Renshad. You are all wonderful people. We all look forward to visiting India again and would recommend Offbeat Pedals without question.,Posted on Amber GargTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We underwent a half day cycling tour starting from Alleppy and it was nothing short of a breathtaking adventure. First of all, they are so flexible in their tours that they modified the route so as to start from our hotel where we were staying. We were asked for our preferences for the places to cover , the route to take , based on our comfort and our liking. We chose a village route covering various paddy fields and different patches of villages on the way and it was really the true beauty of Kerela away from the regular commercial tourist spots. Our e-bicycles were wonderfully maintained and very smooth in operating and our guide Abid was so considerate making sure we were adequately hydrated during the small stops in between. He gave us an option to visit the Snake temple, at the end of cycling tour , which was a wonderful end to a 45-50 kms cycling tour. Talking about their flexibility in the plan, when we felt one of us was too tired to continue cycling , they made arrangement for their pickup vehicle and complete the rest of the tour. Last but not the least, thanks to the wonderful owner Sujit who went out of the way to make us feel comfortable, as when we were tired after 45kms of cycling , he took us in his car for lunch and then dropped all the way back to our hotel which was a good 45 kms away. People who are passionate for cycling and travel, there can not be better option than Offbeat Adventure for this combo and trust me they can go to any extent to make you comfortable and customize the plan as per your comfort.Posted on Gemma WilsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
